Link Development
As part of their ranking algorithm, many search engines, primarily Google, look at the quantity and quality of other sites linking to a site to determine where to rank it. The more incoming links and the higher the quality of those links, the higher your site's pages may rank in the search engine returns.
Link development can be done as part of the full site optimization package, or on its own as a means to increase the quality of incoming links to your site. It involves researching your competitors, your industry, and any other marketing programs you have running to determine the best sites to approach, and then managing the additions.
This is not reciprocal linking (you link to me and I'll link to you), as reciprocal linking would not necessarily provide the best quality links. We also do not participate in link farms or web rings. |
